Bearish Momentum Signal – 04/21/26

In the U.S. stock market, an important bearish signal could occur if only one of the three main stock indices makes an all-time high unconfirmed by the other two indices.  The main indices are, S&P 500 (SPX), Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI), and Nasdaq Composite (IXIC).

The daily SPX, DJI, and IXIC courtesy of Trading View illustrates their relationship.

On 02/10/26 the DJI made an all-time high unconfirmed by the SPX and IXIC.

Today 04/21/26 the IXIC made an all-time high unconfirmed by the SPX and DJI.

This signal will be invalidated if two main indices make all-time highs.
