Rising U.S. Treasury Yields – September 2026

Yields are rising across the entire range of U.S. Treasury debt.  This trend could continue for several weeks.

The 09/10/26 blog “Upside Targets for U.S. Treasury Yields – September 2026” noted the yields for U.S.  30 – year Treasury Bonds (TYX) could reach 6.00 to 6.50 sometime in October 2026.

The daily TYX chart along with the U.S. Treasury 10 – year note (TNX) and 90 – day Treasury bill (IRX) illustrates their relationship.

Late October 2026 – TNX target range is 6.20 to 6.40.

Late October 2026 – IRX target range is 41.50 to 43.00.

Rising U.S. Treasury yields could have an adverse effect on the U.S. stock market and economy.
